Session 5

Gleblex makes it back to the museum after learning that his creditors are tightening their grip regarding the money he owes for his shop's rent. He is informed of the basement combat that took L'moa from them. 

While conversing, Darnelius notices his Bag of Holding starting to feel warm. After awhile, it starts to burn him, and he and the others rush it to the rear of the museum. Having taken substantial fire damage, he dumps the contents of the bag out just in time to avoid it being burned up (although everything inside it aside from L'moa's body has been destroyed), as they see L'moa's body emerge from the bag and very slowly start to stand up, hellfire slowly dissipating from around him.

The group is shocked to see their companion L'moa, but this is not L'moa. This is Alsbach, an agent of the archdevil Moloch, sent to the material plane to sew chaos and madness, and decides to join the group's efforts to steal from the museum.

The group sans Darnelius enters the museum again and Jelloshot asks to speak with the Curator. After a moment, Curator Arkin emerges from her office to speak with him. She answers his questions about the stone but their conversation quickly ends when she starts to become uncomfortable around him. Gleblex goes outside to join Darnelius as he is resting while the other two continue exploring the museum.

After some time, the group fully meets up outside and decides to gather some supplies before the gala. They first find themselves in Hordo's Vitality Shack, a small storefront that sells basic medicinal supplies and potions. Hordo Jr is currently running the store, and the party ultimately acquires 2 Potions of Healing and a Healer's Kit. 

They then depart and search for a weapon shop, finding themselves in Rusty's Rusties, the weapon smith of the artisans quarter with the lowest reputation. This comes from the fact that Rusty doesn't actulally make weapons, he just scrounges up the rusted, trashed weapons that others discard and tries to resell them. Darnelius walks out with a hoard of 25 rusted weapons/items in his bag of holding.

The group head back to Jelloshot's apartment to discuss the final steps of their plan and to prepare for the gala. They arrive and make it to the gemstone wing without issue and they begin investigating. Gleblex and Jelloshot each explore the archaeology wing, finding a large jade gemstone that somewhat resembles the Murkmire Stone. 

The session concludes as the group sans Alsbach continue to look and listen around the gala for interesting people and gossip. Alsbach is waiting outside the gala on the second floor for a commotion of sorts to start.
